....because music is the journey of a lifetime.
"I was lucky to have Carole as my first piano teacher, from ages 6 to 16. She taught me more than just how to pick out some notes on a keyboard--she also taught me music theory, music history, a little compostition, and how to be a performer, AND she managed to make all of that fun and accesssilbe. Carole is not a "one lesson plan fits all" teacher--the lessons I received were tailrored to me and my interests. No matter your age or skill level, Carole makes sure that you are playing music you want to play. Occaisionally we'd spend almost an entire lesson listening to and playing through music, just looking for the perfect recital piece. By the time we picked it out, I would feel invested and motivated to start practicing. Carole also gives her students plenty of age-appropraite opportunites to shine outside of the weekly lesson, including regular recitals and local student events and compeititons. Carole is investied in the success of her students, and that includes the level of joy and satisfaction each students gets out of the music they are playing. She instilled in me a love of music that will last my entire life."
"I was a student at Carole's studio for 7 years. During that time, she not only taught me how to play; she taught me music theory and fundamentals to help me become a better pianist. Carole individualizes lessons for each of her students. She always carefully selected pieces that would showcase my skills and expand my repertoire. In addition, she provided her students with a multitude of opportunities to display their talents through recitals and competitions. Carole's love music shows through her teaching. Any student would be lucky to be part of her studio!"

"Carole was a wonderful piano teacher, mentor & friend to me for over 10 years. She was always encouraging and patient as a teacher, and I credit her with developing my love for music. She taught me the fundamentals of music theory, which is a skill that has helped me appreciate and understand music beyond just the piano. Now, as an adult, I am so grateful I can sit down at the piano and play--it is a skill I will cherish for the rest of my life. "
